Mas Shimo

In spite of adopting a busy but disposable music industry, Mas Simo has been taking on a more imaginable approach and his unforgettable performances to build strong connection with his audience.Mas Simo graduated with the highest marks from the Toho Gakuen College of Music in Tokyo, and then he went on to study at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary. In addition, he took postgraduate studies in piano accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music in the UK.Mas Simo has benefited from the advice and support of international musicians including Nelly Miricioiu, Benjamin Zander, Julius Drake and Ferenc Rados. His concert activities are diverse and extensive, encompassing solo, chamber music and song accompaniment appearances. He has performed in London, Amsterdam, Budapest, Prague and Tokyo. Mas Simo also enjoys vocal recitals with many international singers. Recently he has started working on a project to perform songs by Erwin Schulhoff, Viktor Ullmann, Pavel Haas and Franz Schreker. He is now based in London and Tokyo.
