In 1999, yu-ri(vo.) had planned a band formation. Then she tempt her friend's elder sister Haruna(vo.), and succeeded in formation of acoustic duo "Glassy Moon". Activities were started at "Valtan Club" in Shimonoseki. On the other hand, Ichiro Tsuhata(g.) was working as a guitarist in Tokyo and Los Angeles.His two bands were supported to many great musicians(Tohben Yukawa, Tetsu Mukaiyama and Keiji Soeda in Tokyo. Tony Hoffer, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Matt Gunnel and David Campbell in L.A.), and made their debut from the major label. In 2002, he became the owner of “Valtan Club” and got to know about “Glassy Moon”. He carried out “The Glassy Moon Rock’n’rollized Plan” immediately, because he felt possibility for their peculiar singing voice and two persons' wonderful harmony. He talked to Seiji(dr.) about the plan first, who was working in the rock band and the brass band. Since there was no bassist, they rehearsed using the sequencer, and had the first concert as “Psychedelic Akiko Machine” two months later. Taorin(b.) was coming to the concert by chance. He was the drummer of Beatles's cover band and made Ichiro hear CD of "Hikosima Beatles". It recorded by only himself, and he said that he wanted to join in the band as a bassist. Ichiro received, though he suspected whether he was being able to play the bass guitar truly! In this way, P.A.M. became a form of the rock band and rushed into recording. And 1st album “Psychedelic Akiko Machine” was released from their own label in a year. Although P.A.M. was continuing activity favorably, Taorin(b.) seceded suddenly in November 2003 and the band became an activity pause… However, members of P.A.M. were writing songs, helping other bands, etc., without fearing. Of course, while looking for a new bassist ... Yonechi(b.) joined in the band in April, 2004, and P.A.M. resumed activity. She is also a percussionist and has the talent which is excellent, so she mastered the song of P.A.M. quickly. And P.A.M. 's new CD's out now!! Search "Cosmic Gypsy" at "Amazon.co.jp".
