Garbo Swag

Garbo Swag is a Chicago-based band that released approx. 60 songs spanning 3 albums and multiple EPs from 1995-2002. Garbo Swag's music incorporates a wide variety of influences, from punk to classic rock to R&B and more.The band was originally started as an alternative rock cover band, under the name Stone Diam. The band changed names to Garbo Swag when guitarist John Majerowski left. A second guitarist, Nick Bolton, came aboard for a short period and recorded 5 songs with the band. Nick left, and was soon replaced by Leo Post, whose creative guitar work brought a whole new sound to the band.The band has been on a long-term hiatus since singer David Burgos relocated to Los Angeles in August 2002. Dave is now active with his band My Evolution. Bassist Jeff Genualdi and drummer Paul Guziec are still performing together in their tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Funky Monks.
