I'm easy going, funny, flirtatious, but I like to think intelligent. I work in the world of finance and essentially I'm a people's person. Life can always be so much more than just the ordinary. I'm still a believer in the old saying 'You get out what you put in'! I first came to Japan around 11 years ago. Before then and since then I've done alot of travelling, experienced alot of things and made alot of observations about places and people around the world. I've learned the truth of the saying -'Travel Broadens the Mind'. Indeed it does!Ever since I was a young boy I always knew I wanted to travel. Back then I didn't get much chance. By the time circumstances gave me the opportunity and I also had enough courage to break free I was 29 years old. I left with a rucksack and a guidebook, a few pennies and a camera and came to Asia. On that trip I ventured through northern India, trekked in Nepal, dived in Thailand, explored penninsula Malaysia, and rested in Singapore. Further to a brief tour of Singapore and a view of what history my distant English cousins had created I moved on to Indonesia. Across Java by bus, seeing some of those splendid sites such as Borobador and Pranbanan. Outstanding! Bali is one of the jewels of Asia and I even nearly broke my back trying to surf in the big waves, of which I'd never experienced or seen anything like up to that time in my life. Such was the limitations of this Englishman. I made it to Hong Kong, lived in a guest house's small room with bunk beds with seven other smelly foreigners and contemplated my next move. After three months away I had no job and not much money left.....To be continued!
