Eva Vasiliadou comes from a family with a long tradition in music. Her father was a member of the most important choir of Thessaloniki (Thermaikos), her older uncle was a choir conductor, and her second uncle (Sotos Vasiliadis) had his own conservatory, was a violin player and tutor and also one of the most important orchestra conductors in Greece. He was also the conductor in MARIA CALLAS's first opera appearance, in Tosca 1942. It was obvious that with that kind of influence, Eva was about to be involved with music as well.Eva has worked as a professional singer since 1985.She has 3 children and 2 grandchildren,yet she rightfully owns the title of Greece's one and only Rock Grandma,alive and kicking,ready to teach what true Rock is about,to all the curious kids.She's worked in numerous well-known live music clubs of Thessaloniki, like Avantage, Politia, Proza, Divus, Enudrio, Porto Karras Club among others. She has made appearances by the side of Giannis Vogiatzis, Notis Sfakianakis, Natassa Theodoridou, Pasxalis Terzis, Chrysochoidis and more.
During the period 1991 - 1993 she was a member of the rock band George Gakis and the Troublemakers, along with the most known nowadays Julie Massino, with whom she also collaborated. During 1996 - '97 - '98 she formed the rock - blues band Mamas Band (from which nationally acclaimed musicians such as drummers Kosta Liolios, Mike Kapilidis, Alex Spanidis and guitarists Manolis Vourakis and Markos Fokas emerged) , followed by Mamas Unplugged I & II. She also made appearances along with Blues Wire and participated in their album Who's Calling.
She competed twice in the Thessalonikean Song Festival as a singer. She has made numerous appearances in conventions, receptions in places like Sunny Beach Hotel, Porto Karras Club, Hyatt Hotel. Besides the Blues Wire album, she has participated in George Gakis'/Julie Massinos' album "Pain in my ass", and sang full backing vocals in one of George Alkeos albums.
She has made lots of TV appearances in channels TV100, MEGA, ET3, in shows like Confuzio, Alla Kolpa, Jammin'. She won the second place ,in the international song competition UNISON, singing the song "I will cry for you" by Jimmy Bijenis.
THE LAST SEVEN YEARS SHE'S BEEN DOING PRIVATE SINGING LESSONS AS A VOICE TEACHER.
