Life Tyme Records became incorporated in 2001. This label is based out of Pittsburgh, Pa., but represents artists from various areas. The corporation was founded to serve as a voice for underground hip-hop and its artists. (Artists profiles can be viewed on the Artists page.) Life Tyme has spent the past few years creating a loyal organization to represent the unheard struggle of the streets. In order to attain the success of the label, Life Tyme has supported and participated in professional conferences around the country. The conferences surround professional development in the areas of promotions, legality, and artist management. The mission at Life Tyme Records is to involve the fans in every aspect of this movement; from the music, to the clothes, to the website. Life Tyme intends to do this by staying in contact with the base of the entertainment business, which is the fans. This will be done by building the label around what the fans and/or team wants.
