Hey, I'm Cody Johnson.
Well, my life story is fairly simple. I grew up in six different places, all of them grossly overpopulated with ducks. It seems like I was born with a shotgun in my little hands and hunting has always come naturally to me. Duck hunting is my passion now and I've always been real good at it too. The boss at my construction job keeps calling me to get to work, but I just can't pull myself away from this wonderful scenery! I drove up to Stuttgart the other day in my Ford F150 and during my stay I bagged 35 ducks. Many of the ducks were thick and made for a lot of delicious meals. Still have some of the meat in the freezer for a rainy day. When you start to train your own dog, you can see my truck over on the side.
Funny story actually, I was freezing my butt off in Old Harbor, Alaska a few days ago when a competitor joined me online. He told me that he saw my friend Bob that works at Walmart and he showed him how to join me online. I didn't understand it much because I'm living here, but he said something about buying Ultimate Duck Hunting. Anyways, when he started playing, it was love at first sight. He has a lot of training to do for his dog because my Hoober is faster and smarter than his! I was having a good time stealing the ducks that his dog was bringing back to him. Hey, I never said I was a trustworthy guy.
My hunting partner Hoober is the best hunting dog around. With my skilled calls he always knows where to go and where to find the ducks after I've shot them down. He's a smart fella though, if I can't see the duck on anything but my radar, I can get him close enough to the duck so he'll pick up the scent and grab it by himself!
Playing with the guys is always fun, but I really enjoy it when a pretty lady joins me for a hunt. We can walk around the island, tell our dogs to go out and find the ducks so we can have some alone time. My girlfriend isn't too fond of the pretty ladies that I hunt with though!
Shoot, you should see how beautiful my world is. When a storm blows through Halifax, I can hear the roar of thunder and see the leaves rustling in the wind. My favorite thing to do of all time is shooting a duck as it flies overhead and watching it's feathers explode and fall to the ground around me, you've got to see this!
