I'm lucky enough to have the most amazing person in my life...Snotty, I absolutely think the world of you!I like to keep myself busy...drama workshops in primary schools, a bit of secretarial work, healthcare assistant in local Xray Department, delivering Green Handbooks, singing in two bands and acting when I get the time. Oh, and I have an obsession with trying out different accents, my current favourite being Scouse.Absolutely adore performing and have been singing with a local acoustic covers band - Lowfat Lilly - for about 3 years. I'm also co-vocalist with a Glasgow-based anarcho-punk band - Constant Fear...excellent experience.I don't have kids, unless you count the fantastic feline Billy...he of the freckly nose. He's a bumbling ginger geezer who likes to dress up as Quentin Crisp at Christmas (and is not ashamed to be seen outside dressed in such a fashion) and likes cuddles off and conversations with his mam.I also had the honour of sharing my life with Cheeky, my pretty little tabby and white girl, who was tragically killed in June 2007.I like to waffle. I spend far too much time in front of computer screens. I like quirkiness. I care very much about my family. I like politeness and open-mindedness, people who don't eat dead animals (I also like a lot of people who do eat dead animals but I'd prefer it if they didn't), acting like a big kid, veganism, educating myself on the ways in which humans exploit and abuse other living creatures (the things that are kept hidden from the public), eating my food and knowing that I haven't played a part in some living creature's suffering in order to do so, tattoos, eating out - Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Spanish, Greek..you name it (we could do with a vegan/vegetarian cafe in Carlisle though), having holidays in out-of-the-ordinary places, laughing.I dislike bullies (I've experienced my fair share of them!), narrow-mindedness, people who think that being an omnivore is 'normal', approaching 40, apathy, ignorance, selfishness, people who don't thank you when you hold the door open for them, people who don't realise that there is life beyond 'meat and two veg' - have a bit of imagination! I also dislike having a cold, runny nose and cold rooms that give me a cold, runny nose. When driving (this is a big one and needs its own paragraph...well, it would have its own paragraph if I could work out how to separate profile entries into paragraphs!), I dislike middle-lane drivers on the motorway, people who think they're exempt from using their indicators, people who don't know how to use roundabouts, people who don't thank you when you let them out or through a narrow bit of road, people who overtake at an extremely dangerous moment, thus putting other people's lives at risk, when they can see that ahead is an absolutely huge queue with a lorry at the front of it and, through their idiotic manoeuvre, they've shaved a fraction of a second off their journey time, people who slow down to about 65 mph, on the motorway, so you pass them, then as soon as you've passed them, they speed up to about 95 mph and pass you then they slow down again to 65 mph and this goes on for miles... Eeeeeh, I like a bit of a rant!

Heroes:

Anyone who is prepared to stand up and be counted for non-human animals. I have the biggest respect for people who are able to work undercover in order to expose the vile actions undertaken by people who exploit animals for human gain.Jack Nicholsonfor his wicked expressions and for his portrayal of the characters 'Jack' in 'The Shining' and 'Melvin' in 'As Good As It Gets'.Kevin Spaceycos he's mysterious and his voice turns me on.Brad Pittcos he's really versatile, his best moment being as 'Early' in 'Kalifornia'.Dustin Hoffmancos I just love him. He can do no wrong in my eyes. His best moment was as 'Ratso Rizzo' in 'Midnight Cowboy'.Harold Pinter (pause)because of 'The Caretaker' alone (beat) but also because of every play he has written (silence)
