..........No Thrills play music with attitude and full in your face backing vocals, choppy, grungy- thrashy guitar and chainsaw bass and a heavy fast drumming man from the nice little town of Penrith deep in the middle of Cumbria.
The line up consists of Pez on vocals, Duane on Guitar, Jay on Bass and Tony on Drums. They where formed in March 1998 from the remnants of the old Penrith Punk Bands going since 1977-78.
Since No Thrills were formed they have played gigs mostly around and about the Penrith area.
In April 98 No Thrills released the "Don't Matter" E.P. which had been recorded in the Lindon Studios in Shap. With the tracks "3 Minute Warning", "Better off Dead" and a cover of Iggy Pop's "Search and Destroy".
June 03 saw the release of a new CD Sallys Seven Deadly Hymns and April 06 sees the release of a new EP/CD.Tonys powerful drumming and musical tastes are leading the group into a new era and with his influences on recording and PA work fast progress is being made by the band.
No Thrills have supported Goldblade, The Rabble,Discharge, Dead Kennedys,GBH , Vice Squad,Sham 69, The UK Subs and The Vibrators to name but a few.
