Hello and welcome to my myspace!I moved down to VA from Boston in 2001 after getting a job in the US Navy Band. I'm a musician by trade and actually make a career out of it. I'm lucky to have this job and I also enjoy freelancing in many different groups and orchestras around town. I've enjoyed rocking out with Dr.FU for the past couple years. It's always fun to see people having a good time in front (or on) of the stage. I'm also a member of a contemporary chamber group (and Wammy nominated!) called the Great Noise Ensemble . I've performed and traveled to most of the US and the nicest concert halls in Italy, Germany, Holland, and France, England, and Austria. One of these days I will take a couple months off and see as much of Europe as possible. Locally, I've enjoyed playing at the local bars-Clarendon Grill/Ballroom, Whitlows, Auld Shebeen, RiRa, Ned Devines, and the not so local Bottle and Cork in DE and on the classical side-Kennedy Center and Meyerhoff Concert Halls.
Sports are a big part of my life and I'd rather play than watch. A MA native, I'm a big Sox and Pats fan. So, when they're on, I'm watching. I love playing tennis, volleyball, street hockey, and softball. In Jan. 06, I ran a half marathon in Miami, FL. No more of that!I love seeing live music. Some of my favorite places are Jaxx, Kennedy Center, Blues Alley, Wolftrap, 9:30, and Birchmere.Thanks for visiting!
