The Reflex-The East Coast's Best 80's Tribute Band

About Me

The 1980's are often referred to as a time of cheesy movies, bad haircuts, and the most obnoxious fashion in the history of our existence. Most Americans fell victim to the pop-culture and fashion mistakes that the 80's provided; however, none of us can forget the music. The Reflex serves as a perfect reminder to the music of a decadent decade. The band serves as an avenue of eclectic and authentic sounds of the 1980's. The original concept was created through the recent explosion and popularity of retro 80's music and culture. The band has put together a set-list of authentic 80's dance and rock songs, quite a few that aren't usually covered by other bands. Songs range from artists such as Duran Duran, George Michael, New Order, Simple Minds, and Aha, to Whitesnake, Blondie, A flock of Seagulls and a few you would never expect. The Reflex spent months creating ways to replicate the authentic retro sounds and equipment of the songs covered, including the synth-pop and funky guitar sounds necessary to pull off what has been called "The most incredible live 80's show possible!" With a five-person front, The Reflex exceeds audience expectations as to what an 80's band is supposed to sound like through their diverse, note-for-note versions of the original material. This authenticity separates the band from all other cover bands and has enabled the band to also compete with any 80's DeeJay available.Currently, the band can be found playing clubs regularly in the MD/DC/VA Metro area along with private parties and corporate events. So break out your parachute pants, jelly bracelets and pop rocks and take yourself back to the days of young with The Reflex-THE East Coast's premier 80's Tribute Band!
