Eclectic dilettante not (**sigh**) a polymath

About Me

I've been told that I'm fun, funny, egalitarian, sometimes overbearing, sometimes moody, precise. I'm currently writing an historical novel about the founding of the capital city of a country (no, it's not Washington, DC in the U.S. of A.) It has been very slow-going but I'm forcing myself to write something everyday. This was initially a strain on me but has become easier since I've stopped censoring myself. Censoring, fact checking, and editing will come later.

My Interests

Reading, laboratory work, writing, networking computers, watching TV, talking with people, learning new things, romance, history, science, ancient history (particularly that of Rome)

I'd like to meet:

Intellectually stimulating people, funny and humorous people, good-looking women, people I can confide in, people who can confide in me, street-smart people, people with good sense.

Music:

I'm helping promote the songs of a song writer friend of mine. His MySpace id is SongsAmerican (http://www.myspace.com/songsamerican) . You can also listen to his songs on internet radio (http://www.shoutcast.com/directory/?s=SongsAmerican&x=2 3&y=11&numresult=100) .
We are looking for singers to collaborate with us and to participate in live events. If you are a singer and you feel that these songs match your singing style, we'd love to hear from you. Send email either to me or to SongsAmerican (http://www.myspace.com/songsamerican) through MySpace.
