I make tie dyes, jewelery, computers, digital art, stained leaded glass, and found object art. I am a scrabble fanatic, absolutly obsessed, and can be found most of the time on the Internet Scrabble Club ( http://www.isc.ro ). I also enjoy swimming any chance I get and fishing although I have these flashes where I connect with the fish and I feel his pain. Lucky for me I dont catch that many and I allways turn them loose.
10,000 wonderful hippies, traveling to Hot Springs to dig crystals before the Rainbow gathering
I followed the Grateful Dead for several years so I love the Dead and especially love Jerry and all his music. Following the Dead also exposed me to lots of other music as did working in the music clubs in Austin, Texas years ago. I like jam bands, reggae, folk, funk, African, Latino, bluegrass, whatever. Some of my favorite bands and musicians are Jack Johnson, String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, Tracy Chapman, John Hopper, Ben Harper, Jason Mraz, Wookiefoot, Bob Marley, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong (together), gee there are so many. I don't listen to much rap, heavy metal, or country. MySpace Codes tiedyeron
Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, CSI, Battlestar Galactaca, Discovery channel, HBO, and I always watch CNN in the morning for an hour. (as background noise while I play Scrabble)
The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino, Illusions by Richard Bach, Be Here Now, Catch A Fire (about Bob Marley), Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Bob Marley, Ghandi, Bill Clinton was cool, and I loved what I read about Saddam Husain before they demonized him and the CIA removed all the favorable stuff from their website. Just before we decided to paint him as Satan they had all this cool stuff about how he brought about sexual equality, ran out all the religeous wingnuts, built schools, made it mandatory for kids to go to school, created a wonderful infristructure, the best doctors and hospitals anywhere in the hemisphere, welcomed cultrual and religeous diversity and was working hard on poverty. Weird how they describe him now. He is not my hero but I mention him here because he did do a lot of cool stuff before he was made into our evil arch enemy. I would trade George Bush for him in a heart beat. Naom Chomsky is great and Barrak Obama would make a dandy president.
