About Me

Ayo this is MC/Producer Dangerous C! I've been on a lot of myspace rappers profiles and there usually filled to the brim with bullshit. So I'm gonna just give the short story of how I got into beatmaking and rapping with no cliches or corny played out jargon involvedIt all started when I was 13 maybe 14 I started listening to Hip Hop. I heard my first rap LP's (Busta Rhymes-ELE, Method Man-Tical 2000) and it blew my mind.. The obscure backdrops the vulgar and vivid poetry. I mean I had heard Hip Hop before then.....groups like the Pharcyde and De la Soul....but I was too young to really grasp it..... As time went on I noticed I was more into the music aspect of it, and thats when it happened.......Dr. Dre's 2001 LP came out. The beats on that album sounded like some futuristic type concoctions and the music sounded so crisp. It's also the first time I had ever seen an MPC 3000 and Sp1200(pictured on the back of the LP insert) I remember looking at them for minutes just thinking...."Damn this is where the beats come from". Around that time I found a Hip Hop site that had instrumentals from any producer you could name. I must've listened to all of DJ Premiers beats everyday after school. From that point on I knew that I one day had to start making beats or at least dabble in Hip Hop production. Fast forward to age 17.....I began to take rhyme writing seriously. At age 14 I wrote a rhyme every now and then....but for some reason I decided to challenge myself and see if I could write an albums worth of rhymes. My songs at first were very simple and really corny...but as time went on I got better. Now at age 22 I have about 900 pages of rhymes and counting. At age 19 I decided to save up and buy my first piece of production gear. I had the Fruity Loops demo and made beats out of the presets but I wanted to get hardware just to see if I liked that better. After doing my research via Scratch magazine I found the Roland SP-606. At 21 is when I really started to learn the ins and outs of the machine. Basically I've been making songs ever since. Whether you love the music I make or think it's the worst shit you've ever heard...just know I have a passion for Hip Hop. I don't care if I make 10 cents or 10 million dollars off of this game I will always love Hip Hop. I put 100% into making beats and 100% into writing rhymes.
