The writer and performer London Bridgez pushes the expectations of spoken word. London is her name. Bridgez represents what she does building creative bridges between poetry & R&B as well as spoken word, Funk, Soul , rap & hip hop.
Her first spoken word single "Crushing You" was featured on BuB Music Radio, a New Hampshire based Internet radio station that supports indie artist. She was also featured on the Rep da Bean local rap culture website as a local featured poet.
A few of her poetry performances have included: -the Simmons College School of Social Work Stop the Violence Mic Night, Northeastern University's "Beatless: A Poetry/Spoken Word Experience" 2006, MIT's Chocolate City presents "ILL VIBES SPOKEN WORD EXPERIENCE" 2006, the 2007 Art Beat festival in Somerville MA, Good Life Bar Boston MA, Erasmus Hall Audtorium 2008 Black History Month Show in Brooklyn NY, Laundanum Womens Open Mic 2007 in Chicago and many more.
Her Print Media credits include Simmons College Literary Magazine "Sidelines" 2006-2007. She most recently wrote Hip Hop Album Reviews for northeast division of Performer Magazine, www.performermag.com.
