Nuestro estilo es no tener estilo

About Me

LFDR started in november 1986 playing with junk instruments such as metallic sheets, bottles, toy drums, and other noise producers like electric guitar, casiotone, etc. At the beginning it was a trio formed by Gustavo Hernández, Luis Alberto Partida & Antonio Rotuno. In 1988 a new member came in: Hugo Cedillo.
At the end of 1990 LFDR became a quintet with the addition of Manuel Partida. Some tapes were released since 1990 and compact discs started in 1994 with the release of "Sácalo y Enséñalo" under their own label Genital Productions.
In 1996 Hugo left and the same happened with Gustavo at the end of 1998, becoming again a trio. The sound has been autodefined as ’no-style’, but mainly keeps its roots in underground music, from industrial, experimental to electro, techno, dark, punk, rock, improvisations, pop, and other non sense.
La Función de Repulsa are not rock stars and maybe they aren’t even musicians, maybe just and intelectual mess.
