About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor at MySpace Toolbox !hey whats up its finally time i got back here to do this. i'm 28 and hate writing about me...so i'll just let you know a lil...music is my life...no i don't play anything just love to hear others say what i feel and can't express, i used to write alot, and draw and have gotten away from both so i'm trying to reconnect back to the artist in me by hanging out with other artists, poets, etc. i have one dog now pumpkin...who is my world and loves me eternally... i have a great new job that i love...i got a job as a teacher's aide at a high school for handicapped kids... in my class there are 5 kids, 4 in wheelchairs and none can talk...but they just LAUGH....the kids are AMAZING to see all they deal with on a daily basis and still have so much happiness inside....and the other teachers' dedication to the kids is very inspiring....i'm a hopeless romantic and can't wait to fall in love again....tho i'm not rushing anything i've been hurt before...

My Interests

music, poetry, art, people with passion and feeling and deep thoughts, baseball, my dog, my kids at school....just trying to improve my life every day i awake

Music:

I listen to everything....hip-hop/rap, old r&b, classic rock, metal, and even country so i won't list all the bands i'm into.....but i like bands that can make REAL MUSIC.........but here's a concept called "Spells" by The Witchdoctor~~~~~~~~~"Rhythm has a spirit, and every spirit has a power, and every power has an effect. when we speak we make music, and when we make music we weave spells. spells to cure the soul, spells to cure the whole. we become natural born healers, and Lord knows we all need healing. when most people hear the word witch they think of evil and old, ugly women riding broomsticks. but in ancient cultures the witches were the healers, the shamans. those who knew the plants of the forest, and the power of the words, and the power of the rhythm. those who knew the rituals that kept the knowledge alive. some might fear or hate the word Witchdoctor, but what they really fear and hate is their own ignorance. the time has come for black people to embrace their southern roots without fear. the time has come for them to embrace their spiritual powers without hesitation. we have been taught to hate ourselves, and be uncertain of our spirit, our magic. we've been taught to fear the darkness of the night, which is the darkness of our skin. we have been taught to fear the voices in our heads, which our the voices of our ancestors. in deed our music is black magic. and the music we create is the music of the past, the present, and the future the complete cycles of life. for the healing of our souls amen".
