About Me

veerin' off the beaten path...
i’m a biologist, and i recently earned my phd; i graduated this past may. it was the hardest thing i've ever done in my life, but as hard as it was, i’m glad i stuck it out.
in general… i’m a trooper…
so what’s next? i started a gig that i'm really enjoying, and as is characteristic of me, i’m doing something totally non-traditional with my degree. outside of work, now i can do some of the relaxing things i love that i didn’t have as much time to do before. i feel really excited about “what comes next” and most importantly, i am happy.
i love to have fun whenever i can, try not to take myself too seriously and consider myself to be highly adventurous/spontaneous...
lately, through my work with NOISE Entertainment and SNUB, i’ve been expanding my horizons even further to encompass [seriously] something i’ve always loved since i learned to play piano as a kid: music... expect the unexpected. that's wassup.

My Interests

science, medicine, writing, drawing, reading, music, video games, computers. i'm naturally curious...i love figuring out how things work and how to put anything together. below are some of the doodles i've created in my spare time: Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

I'd like to meet:

other interesting people who think outside-the-box... in my life i've been fortunate enough to go a lot of fabulous places and meet/befriend some really fantastic folks. so i'd also like to meet more of the same caliber of people who have impacted my life. there are many but check out a few (some of these pics are from waaaaaay back, lol):

Music:

almost everything (not a real big country music fan though) from fleetwood mac and the eagles to nelly and t.i.... tupac and jay-z are my favorite hip-hop artists ever, but i really like a diverse and unpredictable range of music. i'm definitely not exclusively a backpacker though i support underground artists... i try not to put myself into any little boxes. there's some of virtually all music that's cool, and some that's pure garbage. believe that. SNUB is that next big one, and most of the time you're gonna hear his music on my page, but check back and see.
