You've heard Doug Rasheed's music. You've bobbed your head to and sang along with his songs. The production style of this self-taught musician/producer/songwriter has brought to life the songs and albums of legendary artists such as Tupac, LL Cool J, Barry White, Chaka Khan, and the Beegees. Although he had been in the game years before, it was in 1996 when his great talent was first unveiled to the world. That year, he produced, arranged and co-wrote Coolio's Grammy Winning Multi-Platinum single "Gangsta's Paradise" from the Motion Picture Soundtrack "Dangerous Minds" earning himself a Grammy Nomination for Record of the Year.
Since 1996, Doug has continued to put his mark on notable records such as Tupac's "All Eyez On Me" and Brandy's "Sittin' Up in My Room" Remix featuring LL Cool J. He also co-produced Montell Jordan's follow-up Gold single "Somethin' 4 Da Honeyz" from Jordan's debuted double platinum album "This Is How We Do It". Most recently he co-wrote Chaka Khan's "Will You Love Me" on her 2008 album "Funk This" which debuted at 15 on the BillBoard Top 200.
Doug Rasheed has teamed with E.R.R.U.P.T Management and E.R.R.U.P.T Studios and is in the lab writing and producing records for the next generation of music legends.
