Influences: John Lydon, Frank Black, Ween, Frank Zappa, The Clash. Elvis Costello.
Sounds Like: I can't top what Mike wrote for the "Sounds Like" thing for Jack Ruby's Alibi so I'll just say I sound a lot like JRA. ;)

I probably sound like Frank Black but I don't know. I tend to mix it up a little: there's some Frank Zappa in a song or two; there's New Pornographers in one of my new tunes; there's a lump or two of Clash in a few songs, etc.

I'd love to sound like T. Rex or Spoon. Or Spoon doing T. Rex covers. Or Spoon covering up their loved ones to protect them from a T. Rex they'd encountered after joining Sherman and Mr Peabody in the Way-Back Machine. Or Sherman Helmsley winning a Peabody Award for doing acoustic covers of Spoon covering T. Rex.

So it's a mixture or tastes and textures: like Timpano. Yummy!
