Moyosore Akojenu popularly known as Fleet militant born and bred in Lagos state Nigeria .a humanist, philosopher pan-africanist, has been involved in Hip Hop advocacy for many years. The first international member of the Grassroots Artists Movement (G.A.ME), an organization dedicated to the support of hip hop culture, unionizing artists and empowering the youths in the community has recorded quite a number of successes in the History of Nigeria Hip Hop. As the director and founder of the union (G.A.ME) in Nigeria, he has been able to unionize and create an existing Network for most underground emcees in Lagos state, Nigeria through shows and conferences inspired by the union.
Hes a student of history and international relations in the Faculty of Arts Lagos State University (LASU), his interest has remained African consciousness and solidarity which he beliefs could be achieved through the efforts of awareness and political education of the colored people. He believes in the power of struggle and was highly inspired through the works of freedom fighters like FELA ANIKULAPOKUTI, HUEY P NEWTON, FRED HAMPTON, OMALI YESHITELA, PENNY HESS, STEVE BIKO and more.
Fleet has been raising campaigns for healthcare along side the Grassroots Artists Movement in Nigeria, which a remarkable one was recorded on the 14th of February, 2006 (CLOSE UP FOR LOVE VALENTINE STD CAMPAIGN) where over 300 secondary school students were educated and enlightened on this deficiency.
As a lyricist and producer, marketer and arranger, he derives pleasure in creativity. He has produced countless joints for underground cats in his country, Nigeria. Inspired by mob deep, Nas, dead prez, rakim, Notorious Big, Wu tang Clan, Krs 1, Pete rock, Talib Kweli and every artists that brought positive image to Hip Hop.
Fleet started is musical career after his secondary education performing along side neighborhood colleagues in the rapping industry. He recorded his first demo song titled 3 in 1 in 1998, and performed countless times both in concerts and club shows.
Currently the CEO of HIPTECHNICS records and entertainment, He is currently working on a mix tape tagged WAR KAMP. He is also working on a project entitled African Movement Party (AMP) which tends to express the views on socio-political environs of African people.
