Jihan - Annesa is a singer songwriter who began her dancing career at the age of 2 before progressing to singing at competitions, church and local shows. While at Secondary School she was encouraged to attend the Sylvia Young Theatre School studying Dance, Drama and Singing. Tutors at the Theatre School quickly realised her potential and sheer enthusiasm for the Arts; consequently she was asked to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in 'A Night of 1000 Voices'. Websites rate her as ' the best performer to grace our stage'. Wishing to develop her musical ability whilst recording, she studied a Music and Dance degree, graduating in 2005, gaining a first class honours in performance in her third year. Having worked along side Grammy Award Winning producer Bruce Elliot-Smith, Jihan-Annesa released her debut single 'Ready and Waiting' reaching the top ten across Europe. Following the success of the track, Hed Kandi's Ibiza Base added the single to their compilation album sold worldwide. Currently working along side industry greats Jihan-Annesa is writing and recording her debut album. Jihan-Annesa regards a career in music as her absolute destiny.
