We are the result of a society engineered for economic productivity. Success is defined by material wealth accumulation and luxury. Our economic system seeks to maximize profit without any regards to ethic, whether it’s by exploiting human labour or the environment.
Our thoughts are shaped to sustain corporatism ideology. Corporate interests populate graves on a daily basis. Human lives are an expandable commodity of extrusive capitalism. We are no longer human being but potential consumers, for a potential product. The complexities of the system’s dynamic serve the purpose of allowing the domination of the educated elite.
The masses defines themselves via material possessions, affiliation with corporations, their jobs, the appearance they portray, and the services they consume. We are a generation raised by the entertainment industries and the mass media, desensitized to violence and unethical behaviors.
Most of us have a vague feeling we have been deprived of something critical in our lives. However, many choose to stay unconscious to the reality by the means of passions, consumerism, entertainments and consumption of system depressant and stimulant.
A small few might even glimpse at the reality, horrified they quickly glance away and comfort themselves with restrictive, superficial patterns of thoughts to avoid disillusionment.
Honesty, dignity, compassion are optional and often substituted for greed, individualism and personal gain.
We shall oppose the apathy of the masses, failure to do so will result in consequences directly proportional to the collective ignorance.
