Socialising, working out, music, shopping, ODing on mindless TV, footy (Aston Villa in particular)...oh, and food.
I'd like to meet:
Spontaneous, genuine people who are up for a laugh. People who share my interests or can open my eyes to a whole new world of fun stuff.
Music:
I listen to house (quite a bit of old school these days - must be my age), funk, soul, electro and indie. If I'm going out to shake my booty, I like DJs such as the Unabombers. Things currently headlining on my CD player are LCD Soundsystem, FabricLive: The Glimmers and The View.
Movies:
An eclectic selection. Favourites include: Scarface, Carlito's Way, Grease (I know...its a childhood thing!), Human Traffic, Romeo and Juliet, The Long Good Friday...the list is endless.
Television:
Lost, This Life, Nip/Tuck and the odd soap here and there. And a bit of reality TV, but please keep that a secret ok??!!
Books:
As an English teacher, there's too many to mention so I'll just say what I don't like - anything by Jeffrey Archer or Jackie Collins for starters. And I'm not a fan of sci-fi either. Apart from that, pretty much anything goes.
Heroes:
Elvis baby! And my mom of course!
