About Me

I am a Worshiper, Mentor and a Freelance Makeup artist that moved to TX in 2004 and married a wonderful southern gentleman. To my surprise when I stopped Looking, got Myself together and put it in God's hands, I met the man that I truly deserve. You know the "Best of me". I learned that sometimes you have to be willing to leave your comfort zone to be Blessed. Even though I love the change in my life, I miss my friends back home in Chicago. I miss the spa with the girls. HOWEVER I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID THIS THING GOD'S WAY. I enjoy dates with my husband and just cooking a good meal for him. I love my friends hard and feel that they are your true family sometimes. Treat them well and watch the relationship grow. Continue to water your relationships, you never know when you will need them the most. I am also grateful for the lives of those who have touched me along the way and those that I have encouraged, motivated and inspired who constantly remind me that we are too Pay It Forward. God Bless You Overwhelmingly!!! What I know for sure: If I keep my hands open, I can let go of what I don't need and receive all that God has for me. Thats one to grow on.....Background:

I enjoy making people BEAUTIFUL inside and out! I enjoy singing and listening to "LOUD" live music. I can't turn down a good book. I would love to meet Oprah in order to tell her how she inspires me as a Black Woman to dream BIG DREAMS. Coretta Scott King to tell her "thank you" for being courageous enough to stand beside the revolutionary Martin Luther King Jr. I have never been a person to look at any entertainers as any different than you and I. Favorites are "Prince" in Under The Cherry Moon (WHICH I HAVE AN UNOPENED COPY OF), What's Love Got To Do with It,Love Jones, The Five Heartbeats,The Temptations, The Conte of Monte Cristo, Lackawanna Blues Juno,and my latest find, The Notebook.

Television:

I have become addicted to anything the Jerry Bruckheimer creates. CSI, Hereos, The Unit, Close to Home,The Big Give, Kimora, The Kardashians ETC. The Food Network for ideas.....I watch way too much TV. I have to Tivo Oprah everyday. Don't You???
