Machelle is celebrated for a grandiose voice that can launch a thousand ships with her wide range of vocal ability. Singing since the age of 5, Machelle is not a novice when it comes to the microphone. She is highly skilled in singing all genres of music, ranging from Gospel, Jazz, and Urban Contemporary. At 18, Machelle embarked upon her professional career. She was favored with the opportunity to lead the hit song "Momma" with recording artist Cornell Morrell. Machelle, then collaborated with Greg O'Quinn & Joyful Noyze on the "I Told the Storm" project released in 1998-99, in which she became the lead vocalist for "Dry Your Eyes" (written and produced by J Moss) and "The Conversation." Furthermore, in 2000-2001, Machelle once again united forces with Greg O'Quinn for his 3rd CD release entitled "Cliches" in which she led "Awesome" and "Singing in the Rain." Both of these ballads were played repeatedly on radio stations all across the United States. Simultaneously, Machelle also recorded with mega hit star, Kirk Franklin, for "The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin" CD and DVD. In 2005, Machelle sang praise and worship for Juanita Bynum's "Women on the Frontline" conference. Many doors have opened for Machelle to sing background for many phenomenal artist including, J Moss, Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Martha Munizzi, Crystal Lewis, Donnie McClurkin, and many many more!! Machelle's heavenly melodies make you feel as if Gabriel has blown his horn and angels have begun to sing....(she is definetely a must hear)!!!! Machelle also sung background for hit play "Heaven for a Gee" with actor(s) Keisha Night Pulliam, (Lil' Rudy from the Cosby Show), Actor/Rapper Lil' Zayne, recording artists Shazaam from H-Town, and Cherrell.
