I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

GREAT MOTHERS DAY COMMENTS
I am very very tired of meeting men who LIE. I consider myself a normal person with feelings. I also have been told I wear my heart on my sleeve, and am to giving. I am looking for an honest, communicative person - who treats others like they would like to be treated. If you aren't family oriented - don't bother writing. My family are so very important to me. I love to laugh..........its the best medicine. I have many stories about this single dating world. I am tired of it. So, unless you are my Mr. Wonderful/Right - are willing to give all you have to a relationship..........then don't bother contacting me. There are to many men out there that are looking for a short term relationship for basically one reason - that isn't what I am looking for. I want to find that special person for me to spoil and him the same. I want to keep you anxious to see me again.......so, if this might be you - then message me!!! If not ------keep looking. All I can tell you is I AM normal, no baggage (my children are grown), just a heart that has been broken to many times...............If you are a women looking for friends.........please - contact me. I love my on-line friends. They are the best. Don't know how I would have survived without them somethings.

I enjoy gardening, Nascar, beach, walks, theater and concerts. Prefer playing in the dirt over inside work anyday. Now, don't get the wrong idea, I do clean and the house is usually tidy, except now that there are boxes all over from packing. The beach is great - -anytime of year. I will miss that, but 2 hours isn't that bad if you go for the weekend or longer. Theater will be tough to beat being I have only experienced Broadway. I will adjust I am sure. Now, just need to find a wonderful, sensitive, caring gentleman with the similar likes and dislikes. Are you out there??????

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet Kevin Cosner, Josh Groban, Jack Nickleson, Billy Ray Cyrus -------oh you want realistic????? I would love to meet the perfect man. That is, perfect for me, not truly perfect, that would be boaring - - and totally unrealistic!!! I am searching for a considerate, honest, loving, kind, tender, affectionate man who believes in love. I am hoping he is out their for me. I am looking to form new bonds of friendship with people in all walks of life. I was just thinking of conversations I've had recently with a few friends. It really got me to wondering. Is there room in our world any more, for someone with a tender heart? Someone who genuinely cares about other people... Deeply? Someone who is open and honest in their everyday life... Someone who has the capacity and the desire to love one person with all they are? Openly... Honestly...I can almost hear you out there... that's me, I'm like that... and you know what? I believe you. I believe I'm one of those people... I have the scars to prove it... I really do want to open my heart completely and love honestly... no games, no hidden agenda...And I've met people, over and over, that used to be that way... But over time, meeting all the players and the users, they've become cynical, cautious and jaded...There are so many walls to get through... They've closed the door and hardened their heart...So my question is this, is there room any more for the tender hearted? As for me, I'm forever hopeful... Let me know what do you think?

Music:

I enjoy a variety of music. Oldies it probably my most favorite. I LOVE accapella, especially The Encounters. The are a group from NY that I tried to see when ever possible. I like the old standards (30's &40's). Journey is the group of the 80's. I can pretty much listen to all but rap and opera. I love Broadway and all the musicals.

Movies:

Favorite movie --------An Affair to Remember (I'm a true romantic), Bodyguard (see what I mean) and deffinetly Gone with the Wind.

Television:

Love Law and Order, CSI, HGTV, and movies. Oh, forgot - Sunday Nascar.

Books:

I enjoy a variety of kinds, mostly have read gardening lately though.
Don't get much time to read except for the paper, however, I still like
to read and will eventually make the time to do so.

Heroes:

I have a particular admiration for my parents and all they have taught me. Its strange that while we are growing up we truly think they are just being cruel and mean to us. When we get older we start to realize that they really loved us more then themselves and only wanted what was best. I thank then each day for the structure they gave me and that I was able to do the same with my two boys. They disliked it also - - yelled, cursed and hated me, the single parent, however, the most rewarding thing to hear now is "Thanks Mom". I also admired my late husband. He was a genuinely good person who knew when to allow space. He was kind, considerate and in his own way very romantic. His love and caring has sustained us (me and the boys) with loveing memories forever.Yankee Bull Riding
