I started upright bass around 1990 doing some street playing/busking in Paris.
In 1992 i moved to Denmark and joined a Russian band THE SWINDLERS.
As they already had a bassist, we started playing with 2 basses.
After a lot of gigs, great time and travels, we all went our separate ways. Through the next 10 years, we often met and gigged in various countries.
In 1993, back to Paris and joined a French rockabilly band with Tony Marlow, French legendary r'n'r musician. One album was recorded in 1996.
In the meantime, with another Russian musician, violinist Dimitri Artemenko and an American singer/guitarist Ian Kent, we started a folk/country band SHALTAI. Musicians added and we recorded the 1st album in 1996. We often played in France and Scandinavia. The 2nd album "Home Grown" was recorded in 1999. Thanks to Dimitri, i started to play a lot of Irish and East folk trad. music during that time as part of a duo.
In 1998, i joined the UK psychobilly band FRANTIC FLINTSTONES. With them, I recorded 2 albums "Hits from the bong" (99) and "Champagne 4 all" (2003) plus some songs on the "Speed Kills" album.Played with them till 2004 and did one/off shows with them afterwards
Also in 1998, i joined French psychobilly/r'n'r band GOTHAM. During our 3 years together, we released a couple of singles and 1 album "Guns & Tears"(2000).
In 2001, i moved to Berlin, Germany.
In 2002,I toured 10 weeks in the US with "hard" rockabilly (a la Horton Heat) UK band THE LOVE COWBOYS (ex-SURF RATS), an album was planned but didn't happen. Also, i toured in Europe with US band BARNYARD BALLERS in 2004.
In 2004, I joined US band KINGS OF NUTHIN. I recorded 2 albums "Punk rock rhythm & Blues" (2005) and another one ready to be released.
End of 2004, I joined French psychobilly band ASTROZOMBIES. We released a live album called "Burgundy Livers".
In 2005/2006, I recorded for ex-Shaltai member Ian Kent on his solo album "Trick Bag". We play a blend of folk/r'n'r/country adding ballads, pop and soul to the mix. It's out now under the name of IAN KENT AND THE IMMIGRANTS and the album is called "Trick Bag".
2007: played on Guitar Slingers album (Doyley (Klingonz...)'s project alongside Strangy (klingonz and 1000 other bands), Yasu (Robin), Pete1 (Mad Sin, Hola Ghost), Teo (Evil Devil)..).
Started to work on Astro Zombies new album "Convince or confuse".
