About Me

I believe there is a Dumb & Dumber quote that is applicable to any every-day situation. I like to touch vinyl records. religion, in theory, could be a good thing for human beings. I'm into random bits of information that no one needs to know about. I am fascinated by the human mind. I often-times try to secretly psychoanalyze people within the first 10 minutes of meeting them. I put others before myself (possibly too much). I am amazed by people who just understand things for what they are. I think Canada is cool even though I've never been there. I don't know anything about cars. I'm not into anything fictional. my imagination is very weak at times. I choose not to believe in a mysterious glowing/bearded man in the sky that claims to know my every move...shouldn't he be called Santa Claus instead of God? my three biggest phobias are: suburbs, SUV's, and lifted Chevy trucks. conservatives make my skin crawl. I'm often embarrassed to be a U.S. citizen. I am ignorant of the world. I like to think of myself as very tolerant and optimistic. my heart bleeds at times. I believe in universal health care. I like to make fun of drunk meat-head dudes at parties that yell really loud in a desperate attempt for acceptance and attention. too much testosterone and masculinity makes me ill. it is only human nature to believe that the grass is going to be greener. it is of my opinion that one of the most beautiful songs ever written is "Sweet Avenue" by Jets To Brazil. I love extreme sports. my favorite team-sport to play is volleyball. symmetry is amazing. repetitious beats are infectious. I think the U.S. needs more immigrants and less natives. I love to people/girl-watch on Haight St.. and I believe playing Frisbee is very therapeutic. ............................................................ .......... My Interests

Could one live without : Poetry, Vinyl, Funk, Dancing, Running, Traveling, Digging through the used House Music crates at Amoeba, discovering new music, learning about the human mind, sour cream and guacamole, Indian food, Thai food, my family, wondering if the grass is greener, bombing San Francisco hills on my piece of shit bike, riding through Golden Gate Park on a sunny day, dancing to funky-ass house music, mixing records, pissing off neighbors, working at 5am in the morning, spending too much money on vinyl, people-watching on the Haight, and depressing indie films.... ???

I'd like to meet:

Daft Punk at Coachella 2006

No doubt soaring cathedrals, stirring music, moving stories and parables, help a bit. But by far the most important variable determining your religion is the accident of birth. The convictions that you so passionately believe would have been a completely different, and largely contradictory, set of convictions, if only you had happened to be born in a different place. Epidemiology, not evidence." --Richard Dawkins ** "According to the most common interpretation of biblical prophecy, Jesus will return only after things have gone horribly awry. Imagine the consequences if any significant component of the U.S. government believed that the world was about to end and that its ending would be glorious. The fact that nearly half of the American population apparently believes this should be considered a moral and intellectual emergency." --Sam Harris** "A universe with a God would like quite different from a universe without one. A physics, a biology where there is a God is bound to look different. So the most basic claims of religion are scientific. Religion is a scientific theory." ---Richard Dawkins ** "Religion is nothing more than bad concepts held in place of good ones for all time. It is the denial—at once full of hope and full of fear—of the vastitude of human ignorance" --Sam Harris ** "All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume. --Noam Chomsky-- ** "I think we can be reasonably confident that if the American population had the slightest idea of what is being done in their name, they would be utterly appalled."--Noam Chomsky --** "If you assume that there is no hope, you guarantee that there will be no hope. If you assume that there is an instinct for freedom, there are opportunities to change things, there's a chance to contribute to the making of a better world. That's your choice." --Noam Chomsky --** "They wrote in the old days that it is sweet and fitting to die for one's country. But in modern war, there is nothing sweet nor fitting in your dying. You will die like a dog for no good reason." --Ernest Hemmingway--..
