Both with his band Guitar Ray & The Rhythm Dukes' and with various other groups he has appeared at many festivals including North See Jazz Festival (NL), Belgium Rhythm & Blues Festival Peer, Marco Fiume Memorial Festival(Italy) to name but a few.Ray toured and gigged all over West-Europe with many well known performing artists like Sax Gordon(USA), Teddy Edwards(USA) Mason Casey(USA), Madeline Bell(USA), Enrico Crivellaro (I), The Juke Joint All Stars(USA)Mitch Kashmar(USA), Sam Taylor (USA), Anna Warr (USA) with whom Ray did a tour of Arizona in September 2007 and the legendary Charlie McCoy (USA).
Highlights include a solo performance at Muriel Andersons All Star Guitar Night in Los Angeles(1999). He was also invited that year invited by Fender Musical Instruments to play a show at their plant in Ensenada, Mexico with his wife, singer Debby Lee Knol.
