3 Dreams till Sunrise
"3 Dreams till Sunrise" is the Vocal Trance group whose development I would like to promote. The location of its base is entirely unrestricted and may be multiple, worldwide locations. It may be made up of two, three, or four individuals of any combination of talent that, of course, can perform all necessary functions.
My current, personal function would be as songwriter and contributing arranger, strictly by way of detailed, custom lead sheets (see "About Lead Sheets," below).
The following functions therefore remain:
These functions may be performed by any combination of talent--by one, two, or three individuals. This presented list is only one possible breakdown considered.
(1) Producer / Engineer / Contributing Arranger / Contributing Studio Performer
(2) DJ / Group Representative
(3) Vocalist / Group Representative / Contributing Lyricist
About Lead Sheets
I currently own no adequate means of production that would enable me to record and send adequate audio data, so presentable demos, assistance with production, and keyboard performance cannot be offered. If no musical partnerships develop by, say, November 2009 (?), then the plan to begin my own producing for 3 Dreams till Sunrise necessarily will be carried out. Until then, however, the following applies:
I currently am able to deliver full tunes, transpositions, and vocal arrangements (which can include full polyphony) via detailed, custom lead sheets. This means that members will need to be comfortable with "JCS Notation." The good news is that JCS Notation is easy and intuitive, even for those who cannot read music. It easily can be learned in a couple of weeks. The advantages of such a system are well worth the effort and, again, include significant, unlimited assistance with transposing and arranging, especially vocal arranging. A well-plotted vocal arrangement can make everyone's job a breeze and yield spectacular results. Best of all, any degree of notational specificity can be employed to avoid interference with a producer's creativity and contributions to a given project. See the TuneWriterJCS web site for more information about "JCS Notation" lead sheets.
The Final Word
If any of this sparks your curiosity, then please communicate.
