Homespun is a group of people who came together through a need to find an outlet for their varied musical tastes and talents.We are a group of friends who have been putting on parties for over five years in and around Belfast,Derry and the North Coast of Antrim in Northern Ireland .Homespun consists of around seven to eight people who contribute to the setting up of parties or nights out.This includes Djs,Vjs,Artists,Singers,M.C.s,musicians and Computer design .The music is strictly underground usually with a reggae influence and can range from hip hop,funk,jungle,broken beat to house.We try to incorporate local and International Artists as part of our nights and have included local legends Kwame,Wig Wig,Beckett,Alan Murray, Chris Caul,The Fat Controller,Calibre,Firehouse Skank and Rootical Soundsystem plus International Artists such as Bigga Bush,Benji B,Troubleman,Quantic,D-Bridge,Domu,Marcus Intallex and Butch Cassidy Soundsytem.The aim of Homespun is not only to encourage other people to express their own talents through music,art,design or even promoting their own events but also to have a good time doing it and to make friends with similar people along the way.
