ACP024: RL/VL - Tardypoints
An Ambient/Lo-Fi EP from Belfast's RL/VL. At only 18 years of age he has already amassed a respectable catalogue, with releases on labels such as Hidden Shoal, Sounds Asleep and now Acroplane. You can also expect a more beat driven 2nd release on Acroplane fairly soon, but for now we think that this little ambient workout works as a nice precursor to it.

ACP023: Automatic Tasty - Sine Language
'Automatic Tasty' is the result of one fella's misguided electronic wanderings, and, having only recently been created is still toddling about in relative infancy. Playing to approximately six people at a time in his bedroom he has quickly risen to massive fame, his soulful brand of angst-ridden pop-balladry causing him to come to the attentions of that unflinching bastion of the underground, Mr. Louis Walsh, who posthumously referred to him in a recent interview as being both 'the next big thing' and 'a bleedin' feek'. He likes his favorite colour, enjoys speaking about himself in the third person and is co-editor of 'taxidermy weekly' as well as being the brains behind their aggressive advertising campaign and witty slogan - 'get stuffed'. ‘Sine Language’, his debut seven track E.P., is presented here for your listening pleasure, re-mastered with precision & care from the original wax cylinders, & now available in high audio fidelity.

ACP022: Lakker - Ruido Remixes
LAKKER are Ian McDonnell and Dara Smith who make everything from abstract glitchiness to rampaging gabba using only a couple of laptops, the occasional microphone and their considerable musical smarts. They have been mainstays on the Irish electronic music scene since their inception in 2003. Described in the Journal of Music in Ireland as "one of the best electronic acts in Ireland", their output has ranged from electro-acoustic soundscape pieces to mashed-up death-metal-sampling breakcore: a diversity reflected in their releases to date on labels such as Risc Records, Go Away Recordings, The Alphabet Set, and most recently Lazybird, with their debut longplayer, 'Ruido'.
Their debut Acroplane EP is a selection of ambient Ruido remixes that they have been working on for some time.

Netlabel resource www.inq-mag.com have been asking the worlds best netlabels to do a mix of tunes from their catalogue.
"Regular monographic showcase exclusive mixes of some of the most notable and innovating netlabels. Nobody in the netlabel sphere knows its releases better than who has given birth to them, and also, who has established its quality standards and infrastructure to publish it to the audience. Also nobody better than who is behind the netlabels, its managers or collaborators, could make a more representative sample of the philosophy of them. This is why ive asked each of the selected netlabels to manufacture an exclusive mix to showcase their published (or not) works."
