About Me

SMYC (Saints Memorial Youth Choir) consist of an annointed group of young people who truely love God,music, and ministry. SMYC was originally formed in 1993-94. The group performed at many local events. In 2002 Jason McGee became head director of SMYC. Under his leadership and God-given talent SMYC has traveled and opened up for The Saints Memorial Choir, been a featured guest at West Angeles C.O.G.I.C. They have also shared the stage with artist such as John P. Kee, Kelly Price, Shea Norman, Micah Stampley, and back up for Mariah Carey at her Pepsi Smash Concert...just to name a few. In 2005, the choir was given the privilege of traveling to northern and southern California, and Las Vegas to spead the word of God through song with a "different approach" to Gospel music. In 2006 SMYC recorded their Live DVD recording, The S.M.Y.C. Experience. With a God given vision S.M.Y.C. had grown, traveleed and ministered. SMYC is looking forward to what God has instore for them!! Look OutHeader Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own!
