***FEATURED ARTISTS FOR CFC III - September 2009***

CRUISIN' FOR CHRIST is the God-inspired vision and brainchild of national bestselling Christian fiction author, Kendra Norman-Bellamy. The idea of the at-sea ministry was birthed in 2006 and eighteen months later, it came into full fruition. The cruise's mission is to celebrate those artists who use their gifts and talents to the glory of God, and its agenda consists of empowerment workshops, Christian writing clinics, health seminars, entertainment panels, jazz/poetry/open mic sessions, comedy showcases, gospel concerts, book/cd signings, photo opportunities, games, couples' and singles' nights, and more.
Making its debut on August 25, 2007, CRUISIN' FOR CHRIST launched a seven-day mission from Port Canaveral, Florida and made stops in Costa Maya, Mexico, Belize City, Belize, Progresso, Mexico, and Nassau, Bahamas where registrants enjoyed a wealth of educational, and exciting excursions.
On board the inaugural voyage were: Grammy Award winning artist, Deitrick Haddon, Stellar Award winning legend, Melvin Williams, Oprah's Pop Star Challenge winner, LaShell Griffin, Holy Hip Hop sensation, Nova 4 Jehovah, "Madea Goes To Jail" co-star, Brian Hurst, breakout recording diva, Darlene McCoy, Urban Psalmist, Izzy, rising vocalist, Beckah Shae, national bestselling authors, Dr. Ty Adams and Kendra Norman-Bellamy, Emmy Award winning poet, Hank Stewart, national radio host, Wayne "Holla" Waller, from UPN's "Girlfriends," Cee Cee Michaela, national comedian, James "The Storyteller" Ford, and more!
On CRUISIN' FOR CHRIST, registrants not only get to see the celebrity entertainers perform on stage, but they also have the opportunity to get upclose and personal: talking to them...dining with them...and taking pictures that capture priceless memories.
The sophomore mission launched on August 2, 2008, and during CRUISIN' FOR CHRIST II, God moved upon the face of the waters on a whole new level. The second offering featured guests such as: Stellar Award winning artist, Myron Butler, 7-Time Stellar nominated legendary diva, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Stellar nominated vocalist (formally of Commissioned), Marcus Cole, from "Their Eyes Were Watching God," Maura Gale, bestselling author ministry, Anointed Authors on Tour, from HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," Willie Brown & Woody, PLUS the return of Melvin Williams and James "The Storyteller" Ford!!!
CRUISIN' FOR CHRIST II was Spirit-led, purpose-driven, and fun-filled. All those who took the journey with us were abundantly blessed.
