I’m Keely Valentine, A 16 year old singer from Burlington and Mississauga, Ontario. I grew up all my life wanting to be a singer and have been highly influenced by rock/pop music since I feel in love with the movie Josie and the Pussycats in grade three. Since then iv gone on to being really influenced by Japanese fashion and music. I recorded my first demo in the summer of 2006, from that I started working with the producer Chris Lago and eventually started working with Scott Komer.
I’m really into fashion, its my other crazy obsession. I grew up loving Haute Couture. While my friends were shopping at gap in grade 3 I was unsuccessfully begging my parents for Gucci. I’m a total gothic lolita sometimes, I really tend to go through phases. I cant wait until the day I can go to Japan and raid Baby the Stars Shine Bright. I want a dress from there more then I want to never go to school again! I think vintage shopping’s really cool but i’m just more into the dresses. If my style was summed up in sentence I think itd be something like, Poofy Lolita Couture Myspace Princess.
I’m not just another typical wanna-be pop princess, I don’t have my parents telling me to do this or anyone else at that really, i’m doing this because its always been my dream and i’m not going to stop at anything. You can hate me and call me a fake if you want but its not going to get you anywhere, If your lucky though mabey you’ll inspire me to write a song.
