I think it’s about time I wrote something on here.
I’m originally from the southwest of england, born in Plymouth and raised in a little chav village called Torpoint just inside Cornwall.
I moved away to the midlands at 17, and absolutely hated there. Mainly because the closest surfing beach was over 3 hours away!
So my obvious choice was to join the army, which I did for 3 and a half years and really enjoyed. For the first 3 anyway.
I left in 1992 and moved back to Cornwall and worked for a short stint with the council and then for a company called Sola Wetsuits which I stayed for about 4 years.
Then decided I wanted to become an animator after a friend showed me a pirate copy of Wallace & Grommit "The Wrong Trousers", so off to College I went.
Graduated in 2002 and my first break was with a company called Siriol (now called Calon) where I worked on Fireman Sam as a model maker and near the end a bit of animation. Also in that time I won a commission to make a short animated film called "The Thwee Lancers" for S4C which I filmed in Siriols studio.
And then that took me to Aardman where I was trained in their style and went on to do various projects with them, one of which is Shaun the Sheep.In between all that I love anything to do with the ocean and the outdoors, apart from waking up in the morning to a baking hot tent!Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com!
