Young G.O.V. (The Teen of tha west) AkA Mr. Im TELLEN YoUU is An up an coming artist Who just turned 17 yrs of age an is residing in Decatur Il....But a Main question everyone wants to know is where is he really from????
Because most believe for some one with such a diverse style could not be born or actually from the midwest. An many tend to ask him was he born in the south an did he later moved to the midwest?....But Young G.O.V. (Octaveon R Woods) in actuallality originated in Decatur an later moved to Indiana.
Where he would stay for 2 or 3 yrs of his life later doin alot of traveling to Georgia an back to Decatur, Which he continues to stay.As an only child he loved to write an listen to music he was a very blessed child as growin up while being raised mostly by his mother while he was young.
In his music life he has came a very long way from just startin with a pencil an a piece of paper, He came from recording with a karioke machine by tape an later moved to an computer where he would use record now an record by an old radioshack microphone.
He would produce his own beats by mouth untill one day after being on a chat line a friend suggested he use fruity loops a program for producing your own beats About this time he was in the 4th grade an had been writing every day during school to get home an record threw record now jsut for the fun of it never really thinking about going anywhere from it just loveing the basics of hip hop it self.
Later in the 6th grade he would still be writing an about this time he would have 3 full note books aof songs an would go to the bus stop where he lived on the corner of View an Dunham every morning an rap for the fun to everyone an make jokes while doing so...later in the sixth grade he would meet a student by the name of Davonte stuart who would later be an artist his self an who would team up with Octaveon an they would later arite a song together called shinning ice which they never really went for with an by the end of the 6th grade they would split up.
By the end of the 6th grade an getting ready to enter the 7th grade his talent begin to grow an others suggested he take it farther, So by the 7th grade he begin recording by computer with the same radio shack microphone an later on learning to put his music an beats on cd. After that Octaveon met up with some of his family members at his middle school an formed a group called the (Killa Mob).
THey were widely known for their talent, aggressiveness, an potential of jumping others an it soon led to others forming groups an leading to alot of trouble, and them also dropping 2 mixtapes, 1 cd, and a cd never released. From there it began to all go down hill an most of the group split up.
Which led to two halfs of the Killa Mob, KMS(KIlla Mob stars) an a KMB(Killa MOb Boys). Young G.O.V. The teen of the west resided in the KMS. From there each group began defending there selves to see which half was the greater half,They even took it so far as dissing each other and that had led to fighting and missing studio time.
So Octaveon desided neither sides were heading any where soon so he decided to go solo, which leads to where he is right now, Working on his third solo Demo, Mixtape, and Album and performing all over the world.
