A brief history of: White the Fabrics White the Fabrics began as an acoustic duo in the summer of 2004. Karin and Petra started to write their own songs. They wanted to prove that acoustic music can rock as well! So not only sugary, calm, sweet lovesongs, but also songs with an upbeat voice part and a guitar that not only let your head nod, but you might even think about dancing. The ladies still like to perform acoustic, but there was something missing... A proper band! In the early spring of 2006 the hunt for members started. A few weeks later Wietse joined White the Fabrics. On the moment White the Fabrics is finishing the songs already written by Karin and Petra. And starting to write new songs.
The songs on this profile are recorded in a theater in Gorinchem, It's the way White the Fabrics began: With just one guitar and one voice. It may give you an idea how White the Fabrics will sound with the full band!
