About Me

What's in a name? If u had asked me that about 10 yrs ago i wouldn't have known wut to tell u. However i have since learned that in ancient times many people would name their children with their prayer for the child (and his/her destiny) in mind. Well i guess that was the case with my Heavenly Father and me. When i was in high school my sister got pregnant and she was lookin in this baby name book. just being curious i figured i would check it out. It wasn't long before i came across my name: Christopher-- Origin: Greek, Meaning: Humorous (ok i can get wit that, but the next few words made my heart sink), CHRIST BEARER!!! WUT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! I took a quick survey of my life and i knew that i was livin foul, period. I knew that wasn't representin Christ. From that point on things started happenin to me. It was like He was tellin me that i need to be tru to my name, and live out the purpose that He had already laid out for me. One day i stopped fighting against Him and i surrendered my life to Him, and now I live for Him. i have dedicated my life to livin out the meaning of my name. Christopher = Christos(Christ), Phero(I Bear) And thus Phero Christos: I BEAR CHRIST!!! Ever since i gave Him my life it's been an AMAZING ride. Life is sweet! Everyday is an increase in, knowledge, faith, patience, wisdom, peace, understanding, love, hope, and the list goes on and on. Please don't waste your time chasing things that are of little eternal value because if ur honest with yourself u know it doesn't satisfy u anyway. If u give your life to Him He will make it more beautiful than u had ever dreamed. That's wut He did for me! Peace!

Washington, anyone who fought during the civil rights movement, anyone who has lived through slavery, anyone who has dedicated their lives to serving others, anyone who stand up for what the believe is right, anyone who lives a life totally dedicated to Christ, and of course, last but definately not least, Jesus Christ!
