Niamh

Niamh k., 20 years old, has been playing music since the age of 7, and writing songs since the age of 12. It became evident in secondary school that a profession in the arts was the way forward so when the famous 'rock school' in Ballyfermot had a place, the next 2 years were taken up by making a start in the music industry.A band was formed called 'The Tenters' which lasted a year, but every member in the band stayed working together in some shape way or form. A new band formed and goes by the name 'Niamh K.' The line up of the band includes Niamh:vocals,guitar Stephen McHale:lead guitar Neil Dorrington:bass and Patrick Heffernan:Drums. This band has been moving along nicely playing gigs in the Madison and Whelans, but are taking a break from the gigging to concentrate on recording and promoting. Hopefully you will be hearing a lot more from them in the near future!!
