Boston's Xasis strives to write melodic acoustic music with progressive rock and metal sensibilities. Confronted with a local scene that thrives on a lack of melody and a surplus of brutality, Xasis is their counterpoint - intensity that doesn't need screaming vocals, searing distortion, or hyperactive double bass to get the point across. Xasis is the vision of guitarist/vocalist Scott Green, and is a reflection of the passion and turmoil that drives him. Scott is currently working on Xasis' debut EP, Starswept, which he hopes to release in the summer/fall of 2008.
