Sunrize is a "Broadway Legend in the Making" Her one woman musical extravaganzas take an audience on a journey of her life's highs and lows. She tells her "rags to riches" story with unique renditions of showstoppers from Broadway and beyond, interspersed with Ms. Highway's whimsical reflections, winsome musings, sage advice, cautionary tales and insightful showbiz stories.Nationally Ms. Highway has headlined gigs in Provincetown, Los Angeles and New York, among others. Internationally she has headlined in Toronto, Canada and Puerto Varllarta, Mexico. She was also voted a "Best Bet" by the Columbus Dispatch for her participation in the 2006 National Gay & Lesbian Theater Festival.Sunrize has also been a staple of the New York club scene for several years. She has performed in such venues as Splash Bar, View Bar, The Monster, Therapy, OW Bar, Barracuda, Twirl, The Slide, Heaven, XL, Plaid, Flamingo East, and Posh to name a few. She has also been a celebrity presenter at both the HX Awards and The Glammy Awards, as well as performing at the Gay Life Expo.
