Isn't tact for people who aren't witty enough to be sarcastic??

About Me

A Kylie look alike, I will never be, But the years have been kind to me. My hair is (naturally) curly but dyed- not too red, Black clothes always, toe to head... 7 holes, but only in my ears, all but one I've had 20 years..Body shrinking, ink expanding. Mom's not pleased. So what else is new? Peter Pan syndrome for sure, stuck in the 80's sometimes...Living in Amsterdam makes it easy. Yoga helps with mental & physical balance, been at it for 7 years+. Need more discipline and dedication (to myself?) before taking it to the next level (teaching). Some help maybe?? I'm a chatty little thing, (understatement?), fiesty, independant and probably too smart (assed) for my own good. When I'm on a roll I can make ping pong balls seem fascinating...At any rate, convince you that they are fascinating (in five languages)... Some serious frequent flyer points have been amassed in the last few years. Any (good) excuse to get me on a plane sends me packing. Love to swap stories, always looking to expand the network of friends and contacts. And yes, I have learned to stop talking long enought to listen. Best keep it interesting, you'll need a sharp mind and quick wit to keep up with me & my posse...Dragonladyink should say it all...Tattoos & Trouble with a capital "T". Clever knights can distract the dragon long enough to get their hands on the treasure. Brave boys aren't afraid of a little singe...Look out for my alter ego (evil twin?) Drucilla. She can be quite a handful...

My Interests

Yoga, Tattoos & Tattooing, Personology... Sorry boys, but your birthday does count a bit. Where the eyes are the window to a soul, birth details are a window into the soul's (potential) nature. Not too obsessed, but definitely a great tool for me to know a little more about who I'm dealing with and how to deal with them. Did I mention that to conquer my fear of guns I joined a gun club?

I'd like to meet:

People who have English as their mother (pierced?) tongue. Or could fool me that it is. World travellers who consider temperatures over 28C (82F) "too fucking hot" and have no interest in lying on a beach baking in the sun while on holiday. Would love to learn more about the stars, so if you can point out some constellations on a clear night, I'd love to look up at the sky with you. Could maybe use some help on the career front. Time for a change. Something new to sink my teeth into, even willing to relocate for the right circumstance. Know anyone who is looking for an alternative, top notch personal assistant? I've got two passports and can organize a schedule better than anyone I know! No fear of flying. Demanding bosses just make me work harder.

Music:

I'm pretty flexible where music is concerned, but might be slightly stuck in the 80's (alternative), please don't hold that against me..Prefer classic rock to thumping techno. Could list some of the bands (mostly individual songs) I like, but you might stop reading!! I spend alot of time in the quiet at home, the world is noisy enough as it is!! Late night, come down, chill out, (clothes off?) favorite would have to be Sacred Spirit...

Movies:

My DVD collection grows each time I travel across the pond...Kinda schizo. Late nite faves?...Grosse Pointe Blank, Dogma, Donnie Darko, The Prophecy, Con Air, The Princess Bride, The Hunger, Mean Machine, What the Bleep?, The Secret, The Sopranos, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (don't ask)...The list goes on... For those of you into Japanese stuff and who have strong stomachs, check out Ichi the Killer..Ouch...

Television:

Milestone...The prime time junkie hasn't had the TV on since August, cable is now permanently cut off!!! Not really missing it much...Out of sight, out of mind...I suppose in moderation it would have been ok, but since Dr.Phil was beginning to make sense, I think all reason started to escape me...It was time...Mind you it might not take much convincing to get me to watch CSI or Law & Order on your TV...

Books:

First and foremost, THE LITTLE PRINCE by St. Exupery. If I were stranded on a deserted island and could have only one book, that would be it. I've always got extra copies for those of you in need. To name a few other faves?? Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy. The Fool on the Hill (Matt Ruff) , Christiane F., The Karma Machine (Michael Davidson), The Alchemist (Coelho)...I also enjoyed the Harry Potter books and probably would have gone alot further in school if there was actually a place like Hogwarts! I have to admit that a good trashy Jackie Collins book from time to time amuses me to no end (much to some of my more intellectual friends' dismay). Brett Easton Ellis, Hunter S, Douglas Coupland, Iain Banks, Irvine Welsh for a bit of pop culture. Stupid quick North American chick reads (Tama Janowitz, Lauren Weisburger, Candace Bushnell)...Orwell, Vonnegut, Huxley, Hesse...I'll even give a few hours to Dan Brown (DaVinci Code) and John Grisham when they come out in paperback...

Heroes:

Those who have something interesting to say and to teach. Those who make me think, those who make me laugh, those who make me cry....anyone can be my hero on some level...
