Music and Egyptology come to mind for some reason. Fencing too, since it is the only sport I can really appreciate.("Chess with muscles" as they say.) Playing the bass guitar. (I want to get better though, so I'd better practice some more.)

Favorite movie of all time: Blade Runner. If you know that movie along with all of the psychological implications, then you have a better sense of why I like it. After that there's the almighty Star Wars and then movies that contain plot twists so brilliant that they are in a class by themselves: Memento, Fight Club, The Sixth Sense to name a few. In Nov of '06, I saw what may be the 2nd best movie ever for me: The Fountain. Since it was only around for a month, you'll have to check it out on Netflix. So luscious is the light of amber.
How about that TV? It has the potential to educate and entertain and yet most of us sit like zombies staring at the magic box. Anyways, I refuse to get cable because almost anything worth watching is coming out on DVD. But with the 2 1/2 channels I do get, these shows are a necessity: Battlestar Galactica, The Office, Prison Break, 24, Heroes, and My Name is Earl.
My favorite books tend to be more multimedia reads that are more than words on a page, they are experienced: 1. Nick Bantock- The (original)Griffin & Sabine Trilogy 2. Nick Bantock- The Egyptian Jukebox: A Conundrum 3. Karen Tei Yamashita- Through the Arc of the Rain Forest 4. Howard Carter- The Tomb of Tutankhamen
