Influences: The meaning behind the name Chains on Me... I feel that anyone coming from the same or similar social background can relate, simply because we feel as if we have been locked down in shackles confided to minimum wage jobs and sweat factories just to get by living from check to check. Some of us come from homes with drug addicted, and absent parents where we were forced to live rough lives, walking around with the weight of the world on our shoulders. Therefore, at times we feel like there are shackles and chains holding us down to these lives we so desperately want to escape. I make music, not for the money, but to give hope, and to let those less fortunate know that I too can relate.
