Welcome to Triple Spin Sounds! The members Dj Benz, Killa Kyat, and Danger are all from St. Thomas Virgin Islands. From the days of elementary school and Little League Baseball to present day sound – mates Triple Spin is a life long family.
The name triple spin came from the days of DJ BENZ mixing using three turntables. After Triple Spin started to become known in St. Thomas, but had to be put on the back burner as Benz decided to obtain a college education. Years passed then Danger and Dj Benz met again, not knowing the two of them was pursuing the same thing. Danger (a mc) and Dj Benz (a selector) decided to join forces. This was the rebirth of Triple Spin Sounds. The sound was on the rise, but due to unforeseen circumstances Benz moved back to St. Thomas and Danger was without a selector. Following the footsteps of some of his influences such as Tony “Mentally Ill†Matterhorn, and Dj Khaled, Danger attempted to do both dj and mc by himself. That task was being accomplished, but it just wasn’t the same. Killa Kyat always been around Danger, (mostly due to the fact that they are same mother same father brothers) and being extremely musically inclined; mixing came quite easy to Kyat. After Kyat started the display of an extraordinary arsenal of mix combinations, Danger then knew that with of addition of Killa Kyat to Triple Spin Sounds that things would take off again. Being brothers the chemistry was there from the start. By God’s blessings, Dj Benz was then able move back to Miami and reunite with the rest of Triple Spin. These three childhood friends were once again united only this time as the 3 parts of Triple Spin Sounds. They began their journey to make their sound a SOUND. The played on numerous radio stations in Miami and internet radio. They found a permanent home at "Da One Radio" 101.1 FM in Miami / Fort Lauderdale (http://www.daoneradio.com) . Since that day, the rest of the story is history in the making.
