About LIMIC (aka Lio M)
It is difficult to speak about LIMIC without evoking Lio M&David' drums, since this concept is the continuity of dj Lio M's solo and minimal. Together, the two brothers have foamed the principal clubs of Switzerland, at raves and festivals and in many clubs in Spain. If Lio M asserted eclecticism in pledge of richness, LIMIC, as for him, radicalizes the matter in returning to the roots of the underground and giving a space of expression to the sounds which emerge little by little his studio.Music Style
LIMIC is a concept dedicated to experimentation, minimal techno, deep techno and electro. Ever since the artist began to work more and more with producing his personal sounds, his music is influenced by it. Dj Lio M has ten years of music experience; LIMIC is virgin of all expectations and is resolutely turned towards the future. However, his background remains the same: a collection of 5000 vinyls, many hours of impassionate listening, and spectator at hundreds of concerts just as much as dj set in all the Swiss clubs and abroad. Behind the platinum's, this usually introverted personality metamorphoses itself in an electronic creature just as well as in one of rock' roll; surfing on sonorities that he adores so much, LIMIC discovers himself in a second physical state, his body and spirit dedicated to the music and allowing the public to do what they wish with him.MUSIC STYLES
Upon asked how he defined his style, Dave Clark answered in 1998 : "Underground music, no bullshit music, music with balls and souls". That is how we could define the concept as Lio M&David'drums have fought throughout their carreer for the right to play and approach different styles and to override etiquetes in order to reach even more distant planets.
Then, following the circunstances, if Limic plays alone, or with his bro', if it's a club, a warm up for a concert or bar, they can reveal themselves in different ways : electro, electro house, techno, minimal...
