I grew up being an Air Force brat. We moved around a lot, common for a military family. But as a child, I did not know that was a good thing. I lived in Europe for 6 years and did not visit the other countries around me (I kick myself every time I think of that now). I graduated high school there and came back to the States. When in the states I missed Europe, and when in Europe I missed being home. But Houston is now my home and has been so for 24 years.
I'm a project designer for a private computer company. Been there for just as long as I've been in Houston. I'm not making millions, but that's OK.
I thought I was a hard-core xbox 360 player until I met this guy recently that told me his stories on xbox live and his game play. After hearing his stories I now consider myself as a devoted player and will not reach the hard-core status he is. However I did put in 190 hours to complete all of the achievements points in "Oblivion" and I am into my 28th hour of kicking ass in "Saints Row".
I love to cook, indoors an outdoors. I enjoy it more when I'm cooking for friends and family.
I do not go to the clubs like I used to. I used to go out 4 to 5 nights a week. My savings account has been growing faster since I stopped going to the clubs. When I get drunk I buy drinks, and not just for me. Then when I switch over to doing SHOTS, damn the American Express with no spending limits! And it's not just normal shots, it's specialty shots. When you tell the bartender "just make me what ever you feel like making" you are just bending over saying "Thank you Sir, give me another".
Now I spend most of my free time at home, watching movies, or playing xbox 360. I also spend time with my kids. Yeah, I have 3 of them, 3 great kids. I love them very much.
Last time I hooked up? March 1993. Yeah, that is no typo. That's the time I moved focus from me to my kids, and the time I lost the guy I was getting serious with to a brain aneurism. The time before Jeff, my sex life and night life was taking up way too much time (more than the time I put into the xbox 360 today). I miss being able to hug Jeff. I tear up, so that's all I say for now on Jeff.
Now, do I miss hooking up? Hell Yeah! But at this point it's like losing your virginity all over again. You want to give it up when it means something special.

I ask many here to be my friend after seeing their MySpace because I love the way they have their MySpace set up, and/or because of the content of their profile. Their content can be the words they use or the photos they show. Photos tell a lot. You are a product of your environment and I think if you surround yourself with what you think is a positive group of people, you take in that positive energy to help you to be a better person. I don't ask to be your friend to hook up, I ask to be your friend because I think you are a positive influence.
