Myspace Contact TablesMuch like her admired predecessors, Tiffany Michael AKA TradeMark comes on like an arena rocker with sonic vocal chords, unrestrained personality, crafty dance moves, and stunning just like a model, good looks. All this and shes just getting started! An ingenious songwriter, exciting vocal performer and gifted actor (Triple Threat), Tiffany combines her passion for music and creative expression into a perfect storm of talent with classic rock/pop encapsulating her preferred sound. Tiffany inherits a taste for classic rock from her parents, having grown up listening to such artists as Led Zeppelin, Steppenwolf, Prince, Bonnie Raitt, and her personal favorite and fellow Canadian, Shania Twain. More current influences include Nikka Costa, Sia and other genres of music including hip hop, Latin and soul. She states, Music has no boundaries it is a passport to places unseen traveling with souls in common arriving at a creative space that leaves you breathless and amazed.A 5'6 blonde beauty, Tiffany was born and raised in Canada in the city of Kitchener as the eldest of two girls. Introduced to music at an early age, she reached the stage for the first time at age two, performing in local festivals and continued perfecting her skills with lessons in ballet and jazz dance. A past time turned into a passion. A songbird was being formed! As she grew older, Tiffany began entertaining audiences with solo performances in musical theater productions ranging from drama to classic musical renditions. Steadily perfecting her craft, Tiffany studied at Eastwood Collegiate Institute Performing Arts High School and was featured in a variety of TV commercials in the Toronto metropolitan area.At age eighteen Tiffany moved to New York City to attend the Lee Strasburg Theatre Institute where she studied acting. Her musical journey took flight. While working on the 90s R&B platinum group Blackstreets music video, Whatcha Say in New York, Tiffany met famed producer, Sprague Williams of Virginia Beach, Va.. She was immediately added to the notable list of entertainers Sprague had produced including Blackstreet, Usher and Whitney Houston. Shortly thereafter, Tiffany relocated to Virginia Beach to create the pop-rock group Trillium, with Sprague as the producer. Although, the group didnt work out, the Virginia music scene was hot and afforded valuable connections including an opportunity to sing background for R&B sensation Joe on his chart topping Better Days album produced by the now, internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum, Grammy winning sensations The Neptunes, Chad Hugo and Pharrel Williams. Tiffany continued honing her skills gigging at local venues and NBA games, including a memorable performance of the National Anthem for a sold-out Washington Wizards game that earned a standing ovation.Encouraged and proactive, Tiffany relocated to Los Angeles to break into the film industry and continues to work hard on her music career. In the past year she wrote and recorded the theme song for a film entitled, The Ecology of Love that was featured at the Sundance Film Festival. The film starred Pharrel Williams (of the Neptunes) and Donia Ramirez. Another song is being negotiated for feature in the upcoming DVD release of the TV show Beverly Hills 90210. She has a raw talent for writing songs, and is a member of ASCAP. Tiffanys notable acting accomplishments include a nationally syndicated AT&T commercial and a recurring role on the UPN family sitcom, One On One. She is currently recording with producer DQ in Los Angeles, Neff-U who produced R&B sensation Ne-Yo, as well as with Producer, T-Life whos biggest hit was Evelyn Champagne Kings record, Shame.Tiffany Michael, AKA TradeMark- confidence and perseverance are evident, her drive unmistakable, voice-angelic, look and charisma-authentic, and her sound-unequivocal. In the words of her much loved musical Godfather Steppenwolfs song, Magic Carpet Ride,....I Like to Dream yes, right between my sound machine on a cloud of sound I drift in the night, any place it goes is right.
